Spencer community partners plan December 12 holiday drive-in

Families in the Town of Spencer are invited to celebrate community and the holidays in a safe way, at the Spencer Hometown Holiday Drive-In on Saturday, December 12 in Park Plaza. Local partners are planning an event that will comply with COVID-19 pandemic health and safety guidance. Attendees are invited to arrive beginning at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy holiday music; order drive-in/call-in dinner from partners Belly's Soul Food Diner, Pinocchio's of Spencer, and Roger Dogs; and hear live music from One Fret Over, a group of young bluegrass musicians. The evening culminates with illuminating a variety of lighted decorations and a Christmas tree at 8:00 p.m. All attendees will remain in their vehicles throughout the event and hear the show via FM transmitter. Signage encouraging practicing the 3 Ws (Wear, Wait, and Wash), social distancing, and other protocols will be in place.
